I absolutely adore Pete and his family. He runs a great bar that is typically drama free and he goes out of his way to make sure it stays that way. The same cannot be said for neighboring bars Bob & Betty's 160 Club (fights/ violence, intoxicated staff members, terrible customer service) and The California Club (very trashy and unkempt, "ghetto" mentality of its staff and patrons tends to bring in the wrong crowd, there is usually ALWAYS some sort of violence going on both inside and outside of the bar, bartenders drink damn near more than they pour). Pistol Pete's is a great place to go any time of day or night.

They have a great pool setup and a nice shuffleboard table. Also the drinks are reasonably priced and they often have live music. What more can you ask for in a bar besides good service, which they have.

Great spot to play pool and have great drinks! The crowd is always chill and the owner (Pete) is super friendly and awesome. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you should find yourself in Auburn, CA.

I love this place! Ice cold beer with many taps and choices. Great bartenders. Newly renovated. Always a fun spot to stop by after work for a beer and a slice of Lucky Js Pizza. Full of friendly people of all drinking ages and if you are fortunate you just might catch (FACE DOWN) or the (Bowljunkies) playing live music on weekends.

This place is just good small town fun. This bar isn't the fanciest or coolest but it offers all you could expect to find at a local dive bar favorite. I always run into good people here and the drinks are always good. The prices are good as well! Plus the live music and karaoke night are always fun.

I love the atmosphere in here, the drinks are well priced and there's plenty of pool tables as well as pizza right next door. The owners & the bartenders are very friendly. There's often live music

I usually like this place a lot which was why I gave it 5 stars, but my last visit was probably 3 stars. We had to wait about 5 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us, and she knew very little about different drinks and didn't have a lot of ingredients. I settled on a simple drink, which was pretty good but not for the price (and it was in a plastic cup). There were also a lot of very belligerent drunk people and nothing was being done about it. I'd stick with the California Club (normally we go there for cheap drinks but they had a cover charge the night we went).

Pistol Pete's is just an awesome place to hang out. Went there a couple of times after a busy day just to chill. Pete was just as awesome. Hope to see our R20 on the wall one day when we visit again. Thanks Pete!
